Nothing is more precious than seeing the happiness in children and no celebration is complete without making them smile! We extended our celebrations to "The Blessing Home" orphanage for girls last year by gifting them new dresses on Diwali. We spent a beautiful day with the kids at their home and looking forward to more such events.

During this year’s edition of Harmony Mahotsav 2020 the world was hit with the deadly pandemic of Covid 19, it would not have been wise of us to do similar kind of celebrations like 2018 & 2019 with our little champs; rather we wanted to keep them protected. We also distributed masks and sanitizers to the kids, which is both symbolic and useful for them to stay protected. Given the pandemic, our team did their part for the community and had organized a free COVID Testing Camp for all which won us the prestigious "Best Safety Award".
Further to this, we also explored possibilities to support, sponsor and mentor meritorious students, deprived from opportunities to pursue their studies for lack of financial support. This activity shall be done in collaboration with Bharat Sevasharam Sangha for wider reach. Your philanthropic support to this endeavor will be welcomed and highly appreciated. Harmony Mahotsav 2019 saw us continuing with the tradition where 40 kids from Adarane Charitable Trust graced the occasion with their presence. After a sumptuous luncheon followed by the quintessential adda with these little champs, it was time for some fun and frolic. Few kids decided to set the stage on fire with their enthralling dance performances while others displayed their acrobatic skills on stage. With loads of applauds and cheers from the audience, the kids were handed over return gifts by the visiting Senior Citizens alongside our President Shri Ramachandran Nair VM.
In Harmony Mahotsav 2018, HCWA organized ‘Taare Zameen Par’ a food fest and cultural fiesta for our 45 chief guests from Home of Faith Charitable Trust (children from local orphanage). We were privileged and equally overwhelmed to witness the talent show the kids put up, impromptu! While the elder kids/teens were busy playing the team building games with us, the smaller kids were taken on a tour to the park where they spent gala time in the playground. Followed by this little excursion, we dined together and enjoyed the home cooked delicacies prepared by our members, handed over some parting gifts and called it the end of a lovely day!
